틈展비하인드 스토리 'Crack' Exhibition Behind Story

대한민국 아티스들의 놀이터인 서교동의 집들은 도시 재개발계획 앞에서 한 없이 무력하게 사라져버릴 운명에 쳐했다. 우리들의 놀이터가 없어진다는 사실에 슬퍼하며 가장 예술가다운 행위로 사회적 움직임에 저항해 보기로 한다.

'틈'전은 기획했던 전시 중 가장 기억남는 전시 중에 하나이다. 왜냐? 철거 직전의 집이라는 유한하기에 매력적인 이 공간에서 전시의 컨셉에 맞게 공간을 뒤바꾸는 일은 너무나도 짜릿했다. 매우 고된 노동을 감당했음에도 불구하고 모두가 한 마음으로 창조적인 조물주가 되어 번뜩이는 아이디어를 손끝에서 실현 시키는 과정을 충분히 즐겼다.

Buildings and houses in Seogyo-dong, which are the playground for artists of South Korea, are destined to disappear because of the urban redevelopment plan. Upon receipt of the sad news, we decide to against the social pressure through the action pertaining to artists.

'Crack' exhibition is one of the most memorable exhibition I have ever had. Why? The process of changing the space in the house is a thrilling experience as the space is finite and therefore attractive. Although we had to bare exacting labor, we all thoroughly enjoyed the process of being 'the creative creator' who actualize brilliant idea .
